My name is Hannah Frazer and I am a sophomore. This is my first year of tutoring in The Learning Center. I became a tutor because I understand how frustrating it can be to have trouble in school and I want to help others feel more confident and enjoy what they’re learning. The subject I most enjoy tutoring is math because it is one of my best subjects and I get to practice my skills while helping others. I also really enjoy helping students with English because it is fun to share different ideas I’ve used in past papers and assignments and see how it benefits other students. I am on the varsity field hockey team and looking forward to playing lacrosse in the spring. I am also president of Sophomore Board and Co-President of Improv club. I would definitely recommend being a tutor to students because helping others who struggle with a topic in school is one of the most gratifying experiences. Tutoring is also not a huge commitment, it’s as simple as coming into The Learning Center once or twice a week. Making a difference in another student’s life is that easy! To the students who are meeting with a tutor for the first time, don’t be afraid to ask questions! We knew what it was like before we were tutors, and we’re here to help you!
