Hi! My name is Zach Freed and I am a Sophomore at HPHS. This is my first year tutoring. I became a tutor because I loved working the TLC as a Freshman and I wanted to give it a try. I love helping others and I think that peers tutoring peers is a very effective and helpful way to learn something new. I like tutoring in all subjects but I have mostly tutored in math and physics. Outside of school I am on the Rotary board and I am a member in DECA, HPTV, Ambassadors Club, and I play tennis. I would recommend becoming a tutor to anyone because it is very rewarding to be able to help your peers with something they are struggling with. The TLC is a great place to come to get work done or to get help in any subject. The TLC is an amazing place at the school and I love coming here and tutoring every day!
Here's what supervisors are saying:
“Zach is a very thoughtful young man. When I have seen him in action, he is always willing to help and does it with grace and professionalism.” — Mr. Loubieres
